Jolly Holidays Christmas Tags
I wanted to post the tags I made this weekend from my Jolly Holidays cartridge. $20 Black Friday purchase baby!
I cut the wreaths and mittens at 2 inches, the snowman and tree at 3 inches (I did have to use my xyron 5 inch machine to run the black part of the tree through though). Loads of stickles going on with these tags! I even used some white flock on the mittens! The holes to punch in these tags were so easy using my Crop-a-dile!
The ribbon is from the "Ribbon Boutique" and the bells I bought at Tuesday Morning.
Loving this cartridge people!
Hope you like them! My kids were already picking out which ones they want on their presents!
I will be announcing the winner of my blog hop candy when I get home from work tonight so stay tuned!!! I have had A TON of people start following my site and am so excited that you are all here! Thank you!

Mod Podge Clipboard Fun!
This weekend we did a couple of crafts and I wanted to share the clipboards my niece and I decorated with you.
All the paper on the orange button clipboard is from K & Company, and the other one has some paper from K & company and some from The Paper Studio. We did bling them up a bit with the i-rock tool from Imaginisce.
Both of them have been distressed with Tim Holtz distressing ink.
All the ribbon is many different kinds form my stash!
Enjoy!

Christmas Card Blog Hop!
Welcome to Lisa's Scrap'n Shack , and the Christmas Card Blog Hop! If you've come from visiting Giselle , you're in the right place. If you were just looking at my blog and want to play along with our blog hopping fun, you can go to the beginning at www.craftycardgallery. blogspot.com. This blog hop is intended to get you in the Christmas Spirit.... If you haven’t already started/finished your Christmas cards, hopefully this will inspire you to come up with an idea... and maybe you can win some blog candy or get ideas for great Christmas gifts (whether they’re on your list or for someone else!). So if you aren’t braving the malls and can get some computer time, come join us for some fun!
For my Christmas card I wanted to try my hand at making a Shaker card. What theme would make the best shaker in this situation you ask? Why what else other than SNOW!?
I started off with a 5 x 7 piece of textured cardstock in a light blue color. No I didn’t use traditional Christmas colors for the simple reason that snow makes you feel like everything is fresh and new! Think back to a crisp morning right after a night of falling snow. Smell that air? AHHH!!
I mated a black piece of textured card stock, size 6 ¾ x 4 ¾ onto the top of the card and then another layer of patterned paper from “The Paper Studio” that I got at Hobby Lobby.
The shaker frame is the made from the Mother’s Day 2010 cartridge. Not sure what the name of the shape is I used sorry. But I made it 5 inches for the outside and 4.5 for the inside and welded them together using my Gypsy. I cut this out 8 times with my Cricut Expression. 4 of the layers are cut using a frozen Totino’s pizza box. And the other 4 are cut with the black textured cardstock. The back base is also cut at 5 inches hiding the oval in the center. I cut a piece of acetate for the cover at 5 inches.
Inside the shaker are 2 embellishments from Hobby Lobby in the Christmas section. I put some flock on the edges of each snowflake. I bought some micro beads at Tuesday Morning to use for the shaker part. I think they are called Beadies. I used Helmar's Clear Round Zap Dots to adhere the shaker part to my card.
The ribbon and brad & tiny snowflakes are from Hobby Lobby, and the stamp “Let it Snow” is from My Pink Stamper’s “Winter Punnie’s” set.
Inside the card I used the same dimensions on the mat. Then I cut out a 3 x 3 piece of textured black cardstock, a 2 ¾ x 2 ¾ piece of the pattern paper, and a 2 ½ x 2 ½ piece of Ivory cardstock to put the sentiment on. The sentiment I bought from Joann’s and it is from TPC Studio the “Christmas Phrases” set. I put a couple of the same snowflakes that are on the outside on the sentiments mat.

Bear Hugs for kids...
Hello everyone! I didn't get to craft much yesterday but I did get to make a couple of cards. Both the same but hey, assembly lines are awesome for card making! Chris Wooten from Turned Gypsy asked if we could make some cards to send to hospitals for a "just because" reason I guess. Cards that can be for both boys and girls, holiday, get well, birthday, or just to plain ole cheer them up! I think this is awesome and have started making some to send her. I plan on "trying" to make one a day to send to her on the 5th. I know I can make more than 1 but this to me is a realistic goal that I know I can overcome :). I aim low so I can look better to myself lol.
I cut the base at your normal A2 size and mated down 1/4 inch for each mat. The only "designer paper" is the top layer from DCWV their 8 x8 Far East Stack. I think distressed it with Tim Holtz Walnut Stain. The panda & bamboo is from Create a Critter and cut at 3 inches. I distressed my Panda with black soot and used white gel pen & light brown sharpie. I also used Tim Holtz distress stickles "Antique Linen" on his tip of the hat and on the bamboo. About a month ago I found some Bamboo "Anna Griffith" brads at Tuesday Morning for $1. Was not sure what I was going to use them for but I have aobsession passion for brads so I had to have them. The sentiment is from My Pink Stamper's More Punnylicious stamp set. It says "Bear Hugs".
Inside the card is a Stampin' Up "Get Well Wishes" sentiment. And the ivory card stock is distressed as well.
I think I am going to make some more of these as I want some for myself. I think I might even try some flock on the next batch!
Thanks for looking!!

Get Well Card
Here is my submission for Fantabulous Cricut Challenge! PPDU is where the nurse is from. All papers just plain cardstock from stash. I don't know what the name is of the cuttelbug folder I used to emboss the layers one is the big circles. The border punch is treading water by fiskars.
The Get Well is embossed using a cuttlebug folder as well. And then distressed with an old ink pad I had.
Sorry for the lighting I can't turn the overhead light on. (See below post to get an explanation).
